Symptoms

NOTE: In the images and/or the document content below, the user information and environment data used represents fictitious data from the Oracle sample or bulit-in schema(s), Public Documentation delivered with an Oracle database product or other training material. Any similarity to actual environments, actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

While trying to add Olap Option in an 11g Enterprise Edition database, i.e.:

SQL> @?/olap/admin/olap.sql SYSAUX TEMP;

The Olap Catalog remains invalid even after executing the amdrelod.sql  script multiple times.

SQL> @?/olap/admin/amdrelod.sql;

The dba_registry shows  Olap components as:

SQL> select comp_name, version, status from dba_registry where comp_name like '%OLAP%';

COMP_NAME VERSION STATUS
----------------------------------- -------------------- ----------
OLAP Analytic Workspace 11.1.0.7.0 VALID
Oracle OLAP API 11.1.0.7.0 VALID
OLAP Catalog 11.1.0.7.0 INVALID

The OLAPSYS schema does not have any invalid object:

SQL> select owner, object_name, object_type, status from dba_objects where status = 'INVALID' and OWNER = 'OLAPSYS';

No rows.
