Symptoms
OCI7 applications that link with OCIW32.lib/dll cannot be run with 11.2 or 11.1.0.7 Instant Client, as the following error occurs:
Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-1019
This includes applications that use Microsoft's ODBC Driver for Oracle, as well as Micrsoft's OLEDB Provider for Oracle.
