Goal

Customer encountered <Bug 11857431> which resulted in corrupted internal pointers such that table scans failed and resulted in invalidations.

Further occurrences of the corruption were prevented by upgrading to version for the code fix for this bug is enabled (7.0.6.7 or later).  However, customer was still left with critical data in the data store which could not be accessed.
