Goal
For the 32-bit MS-Windows Enterprise Edition, to configure the Oracle Database to use memory below and above the 4Gb boundary, please implement the following steps.
Please note that the PC must have >4Gb of RAM.
Also, please note the following MicroSoft limitation statement:
The exception is when the /3GB switch is used in conjunction with the /PAE switch. In this case, the operating system does not use any memory in excess of 16 GB.
