Symptoms

AQ bi-directional propagation between two databases intermittently hangs.

There are 2 queues in each of the databases <IN_QUEUE> and <OUT_QUEUE>. DB1's out_queue propagates messages to DB2's in_queue. DB2's out_queue propagates messages to DB1's in_queue.

Intermittently a hang arises between a propagation receiver process and a job_queue_process related to DML being performed on sys.aq$_propagation_status.
