Symptoms

10.2.0.3/10.2.0.5 SQL*Loader fails with the following errors:

SQL*Loader-522: lfiopn failed for file (//DD:<dd-name>)
SQL*Loader-554: error opening file
SQL*Loader-509: System error: (NO DATA)
SQL*Loader-509: System error: lrecl too small
SQL*Loader-2026: the load was aborted because SQL Loader cannot continue.

The DD name referred to in message SQL*Loader-522 is the DD name used for either the BAD or DISCARD dataset.

Changes

 An upgrade from 9.2 to 10gR2 has taken place
