Symptoms
When attempting to upgrade to the Oracle 11.2 Client Software you notice that the V$SESSION.MODULE column is only populated on the application's first connection to database. All subsequent calls are not populated with the expected value but instead are populated with NULL.

Upgraded to 11.2 from 10g.
