This note is part of multiple notes describing the NLS settings for Oracle Database Gateways.
As discussed in the previous documents HS_LANGUAGE defines the character set that is used for communication between the gateway and the foreign database. This note will now explain how to get some diagnostic information using gateway tracing and other useful utilities.
