Data Pump Import Fails With ORA-07445 [_memcpy()+2369] (Doc ID 1456408.1)

Symptoms

You are performing a data pump import (impdp) or any insert operation that involves XMLtype column and XML parsing which fails with the following error:

Exception [type: SIGSEGV, Address not mapped to object] [ADDR:0x9FFFFFFEF51C9CA0] [PC:0xC0000000002B2461, _memcpy()+2369] [flags: 0x0, count: 1]
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [_memcpy()+2369] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x9FFFFFFEF51C9CA0] [PC:0xC0000000002B2461] [Address not mapped to object] []
