Classic 11.2 Import from a pre-11.2 database using FROMUSER=A TOUSER=B gets ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace "User A tablespace" (Doc ID 1463676.1)

When performing a Classic Import (imp.exe) using FROMUSER=A & TOUSER=B, from a pre-11.2 database to an 11.2 database, the following error occurs: ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace 'User A tablespace name'

The error occurs on tables that have data (rows > 0) or have LOB data types.

The error does not occur if the tables are empty (rows = 0).


The problem does not occur for tables with rows if COMPATIBLE=

The 11.2 database has default setting DEFERRED_SEGMENT_CREATION=TRUE (that is a new feature).
