Goal

In 11.2, the creation and deletion of an application VIP can be managed by <grid-home>/bin/appvipcfg:

Usage: appvipcfg create -network=<network_number> -ip=<ip_address>
-vipname=<vipname>
-user=<user_name>[-group=<group_name>]
delete -vipname=<vipname>
