Symptoms


Graphical interface using C++ code.
The code calls stored procedures using OCI8 calls.
When calling a stored procedure with a large string parameter, a core dump is produced.


The alert.log shows this error:


An Ora-7445 is seen when binding long character strings together with consecutive null binds.
