Error 'PCC-S-02015, unable to open include file' When Precompiling And Include Directory Contains Parenthesis (Doc ID 1466882.1)

Symptoms

When precompiling a 32-bit Pro*C application (such as cppdemo1.pc) using 32-bit Oracle Client Software on a 64-bit OS, you receive the following PCC-S-02015 errors:
