ORA-04030 Error With High Allocation Under "kjzf msg" In RAC Environment (Doc ID 1468032.1)

Symptoms

In a RAC environment the DIAG process crashes with the following error:

ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 32144 bytes (pga heap,kjzf msg)

 
Review of the generated tracefiles reveals the following information:

98% 3998 MB, 130413 chunks: "kjzf msg                  "  
        pga heap        ds=0xbaf9160  dsprt=(nil)
 2%   71 MB, 65210 chunks: "free memory               "  
        pga heap        ds=0xbaf9160  dsprt=(nil)
 0% 5094 KB, 130413 chunks: "kjzfmsgq                  "  
        pga heap        ds=0xbaf9160  dsprt=(nil)

PRIVATE HEAP SUMMARY DUMP
 4079 MB total:
  4008 MB commented, 372 KB permanent
    71 MB free (0 KB in empty extents),
    4033 MB, 130413 chunks:  "kjzf msg                  " 35 MB free held
