DataPump Import Errors After Convert NVARCHAR2 To VARCHAR2 Data Type (Doc ID 1468053.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The application currently use NVARCHAR2 data type. When using DataPump to convert it to VARCHAR2, the following errors are raised:

ORA-31693: Table data object "<SCHEMA_NAME>"."<TABLE_NAME1>" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEFETCH callout
ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("<SCHEMA_NAME>"."<TABLE_NAME1>"."<COLUMN1>")
ORA-31693: Table data object "<SCHEMA_NAME>"."<TABLE_NAME2>" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
