Symptoms
Inserting into foreign database Unicode strings into nchar/nvarchar columns which require to_nchar or the N prefix fail using DG4ODBC
Another phenomena that can happen is when using a SELECT statement with a where clause based on the NCHAR columns then the where clause is dropped from the statement when being passed to the foreign database.
This problem can also happen with 12c database and gateway.
