Crawler Running for a Very Long Time and not Processing any of the XML Files

Information in this document applies to any platform.
The installation of OSES 184.108.40.206 and Siebel 220.127.116.11 is done on a new hardware.
When the crawler is scheduled from Search Admin, it's not processing any of the xml files from xmlidata.
The status remains as "Executing" for a very long time.
The log is also not showing any error.
This is a new hardware with a new configuration of the firewall.
