Symptoms
During a TTS or any other IO intensive activity, you saw the failure in IO:
Processing object type TRANSPORTABLE_EXPORT/PLUGTS_BLK
ORA-39123: Data Pump transportable tablespace job aborted
ORA-01565: error in identifying file '/oradata/db/db/abc.dbf'
ORA-17503: ksfdopn:3 Failed to open file /oradata/db/db/abc.dbf
ORA-17500: ODM err:Communication error on send Job "SYS"."SYS_IMPORT_TRANSPORTABLE_01" stopped due to fatal error at 04:19:04
And in the database alert.log you see
DM00 started with pid=68, OS id=12183, job SYS.SYS_IMPORT_TRANSPORTABLE_01
Wed Apr 11 04:19:02 2012
DW01 started with pid=70, OS id=12254, wid=1, job SYS.SYS_IMPORT_TRANSPORTABLE_01
