The goal is to describe the steps required to move a partitioned table to a different tablespace.

Possible reasons could be the need to delete a tablespace or to perform a TTS (transportable tablespace)

operation without the table in question. The example is using an interval-partitioned table but the steps are the same for any type of partitioning.
