DG4MQ ORA-28511: lost RPC connection to heterogeneous remote agent (Doc ID 1478624.1)

Symptoms

After setting up Database gateway for Websphere MQ Series (DG4MQ) the folloiwng error is received -

ORA-28511: lost RPC connection to heterogeneous remote agent

 

 

On the SQLPLUS session the error is:

ORA-28511: lost RPC connection to heterogeneous remote agent using SID=PG4MQDEPDBLINK

 

 The error generates an impromptu gateway trace file containing:

Failed to load Extproc Library : /wload/pknp/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/pg4mq/lib/libpg4mqs.so

 

Setting up gateway trace file it shows after uploading capabilities to HS it disconnects:

Changes

 DG4MQ installed in a non conventional way such as restored from backup, machine cloning, etc.
