ORA-04031 errors due to "KQR X PO" (RAC) or "KQR L PO" (Doc ID 1479756.1)

An ORA-4031 error can occur due to very large "KQR X PO" memory allocations in the shared pool.

The allocations occur when issuing partition DDL operations.

The allocations do not reduce significantly when flushing the shared pool with ALTER SYSTEM FLUSH SHARED_POOL.
