Symptoms
When using Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) 11.2 to connect to Attunity Server software on OpenVMS with the Attunity Connect Driver for ODBC 3.5, DBMS Version:05.3.0000 then core dumps are created after a select or when re-connecting within the same SQLPLUS session.
The sequence of events are -
- open a SQLPLUS session
- issue a select using Dg4ODBC
- select works okay
- close the SQLPLUS session
- core dumps are created in directory specified for core dumps, for example /var/crash/cores.
- reconnecting within the same SLPLUS session without exiting will also create a core dump
No messages are written to the RDBMS alert log.
