High Disk Read I/O On Standby Database (Doc ID 1481124.1)

Symptoms

High disk read I-O can be seen in physical standby database when using logwriter (LGWR) to ship the logs to standby.  For example:

 Physical standby database has been set up using log writer to ship the logs to standby.
