Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle NoSQL Database - Version 11.2.1.2.125 and later
Linux x86-64

Purpose

If you answer "Yes" to the question "Install Oracle NoSQL Database Community Edition?" when running the Software Configuration sheet of the Oracle Big Data Appliance Configuration Utility, then the Oracle NoSQL Database Community Edition is installed and configured by the Mammoth utility on the BDA.  In that case, you will not need to perform the installation and configuration steps described in the  Oracle NoSQL Database documentation. This note overviews the configuration, store and some steps for successfully using Oracle NoSQL Database on the Oracle Big Data Appliance.

Note that changes to the number or location of stores as defined by the mammoth installation are not recommended.
