LogMiner Reports ORA 7445 [krvrdegsFF] Error (Doc ID 1494957.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to extract data from a Redo/Archived Log, the following errors are reported in the Alert log.

LOGMINER: EndScn: 0 (0x0000.00000000)
LOGMINER: HighConsumedScn: 0
LOGMINER: session_flag 0x0

LOGMINER: Begin mining logfile for session -2137714431 thread 2 sequence 2413, thread_2_seq_2413.5052.792738237
Exception [type: SIGSEGV, Address not mapped to object] [ADDR:0x0] [PC:0x55292BB, krvrdegsFF()+37] [flags: 0x0, count: 1]

 

The trace file for the error will show that Oracle is doing an INSERT, using the LogMiner DMBS_LGMNR package.

For this particular scenario, the LogMiner Data Dictionary is a Flat File.  The Data Dictionary Flat File is generated automatically, and is written to an NFS  or OCFS disk.
