CREATE PROCEDURE Statement Fails with White Space Character '\r'

ODBC fails to execute a "Create Procedure" statement which contains a white space character '\r'.
In .net this can be seen when using "Environment.NewLine"
A SQL Trace will show the trailing semi colon is missing from the SQL statement.
An ODBC trace may show :
Problem does not occur if a newline used is "\n" instead of "\r\n"
