DBCA Fails with ORA-00119 ORA-00132 During RAC Database Creation (Doc ID 1496178.1)

GNS (Grid Naming Service) is being used in this cluster environment.

Symptoms

Following successful 11.2.0.3 Grid Infrastructure (making use of the GNS feature) and RDBMS installations, Real Application Clusters (RAC) database creation using the Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) fails with error messages "ORA-00119" and "ORA-00132"


1.  The resulting DBCA log file ($ORACLE_BASE\cfgtoollogs\dbcatrace.log) indicates the following:
