Goal

After extracting the files for the Unix ODBC Driver Manager, one of the first commands to execute is the "configure" command
which validates the environment. When doing so, the following error may appear when attempting to build the
32-bit version of the Driver Manager on a 64-bit platform.

> ./configure
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
