Symptoms

When attempting to select from an audit trail view, such as DBA_COMMON_AUDIT_TRAIL or V$XML_AUDIT_TRAIL, 
the following error occurs:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kzaxInitUTF:chtoid], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
