Symptoms

Using Sqoop to connect to a MySQL database server as for example like below:

sqoop list-databases --username [Username] --password [Password] --connect jdbc:mysql://[MySQL database server name or ip&]

for example as:

sqoop list-databases --username oracle --password xxxxx --connect jdbc:mysql://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

raises:
