Purpose

This document is intended to provide a standard approach for resolving issues with the Database Creation Assistant (DBCA). The information is primarily targeted to the creation of single instance databases but is also largely applicable to cluster databases. For RAC specific troubleshooting, no actual information is provided here but a list of known issues is included. It also provides the documents showing DBCA in silent mode and usages of  DBCA templates.
