Steps to Setup Hue UI and Beeswax Application on Oracle Big Data Appliance(BDA) X3-2/Mammoth V2.0.1 (Doc ID 1510620.1)

Purpose

This document provides steps on how to setup Hue / Beeswax UI for the first time on Oracle Big Data Appliance(BDA) X3-2.  It also illustrates how to create HUE users and provides details on how to setup samples, execute select queries in Beeswax Query Editor.

Before setting up HUE, please follow Doc ID 1520564.1 to set HUE Configuration parameter, 'HDFS Web Interface Role' to point to HTTPFS role. This setting is needed to resolve Misconfiguration errors in HUE.
