Running Oracle 10gR2, release 10.2.0.5 on HP OpenVMS

Attempts to manage Encryption Wallets are failing.

If wallets were in use prior to applying the 10.2.0.5 patchset, then the encryption wallet will not be found.

For example, an attempt to open the wallet will report the following error:

      alter system set wallet open identified by "xxxxxx";
      *
      ERROR at line 1:
      ORA-28367: wallet does not exist

Similarly, any attempt to create a new wallet under 10.2.0.5 (or to reset the authentication of an existing wallet) will fail with:

      alter system set encryption key authenticated by "xxxxxx";
      *
      ERROR at line 1:
      ORA-28368: cannot auto-create wallet
