Goal
In Oracle Secure Backup (OSB), you'll sometimes want to reuse an existing, used volume with an expiration time that hasn't reached yet. To re-use such a volume, you'll need to re-label the volume using the unlabelvol and labelvol commands of obtool. In such a case, the unlabelvol will fail with the error messages "Error: can't overwrite unexpired volume" and (in case of a "never expires" volume) "Error: this volume set never expires".
