Symptoms

Applies to all Windows 64-bit OS.

When trying to connect using the 32-bit Oracle ODBC Driver the error occurs: ORA-12557: TNS:protocol adapter not loadable error.

Changes

 Both 32-bit and 64-bit Oracle client and odbc where installed on the machine.
