Symptoms

Running Oracle 10gR2 release 10.2.0.5 on OpenVMS (Alpha or Itanium)

The following is reported when normal (non-privileged) OpenVMS users execute ORAUSER.COM

  $ @ORAUSER <sid>
  %SYSTEM-F-NOPRIV, insufficient privilege or object protection violation

 
This did not happen under 10.2.0.4

Changes

 Applied the 10.2.0.5 Patchset to OpenVMS
