Applies to:Oracle Exadata Storage Server Software - Version 220.127.116.11.0 to 18.104.22.168.0 [Release 11.2]
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)
DB node reports predictive failure via ASR with no actual disk failure. Investigating the event logs of a sundiag does not show any errors or problems with the disks, but does show power-state transitions on and off for the hotspare.
Reviewing the logs closely, this has only been reported to occur during image update to OS image 22.214.171.124.0. The fix for ASR is in 126.96.36.199.0 however the failure occurs during transition of the image updating when the fix is not yet in place.
