Symptoms

SCENARIO #1  - during patching / upgrade

oakcli deploy for p12978712_24000_Linux-x86-64 fails at 76% on step 20. dbupdates-DBNAME.sh
further examination of dbupdates-DBNAME.sh shows that SID is set to null and and the installer cannot connect to the instance.
Have tried specifying the dbname in both upper and lower case with the same results

SCENARIO #2

oakcli create database works on Node #1 but fails on Node #2
