When adding a database with srvctl add database "Database instance:" would default to
first 12 characters of <db_unique_name>)
This is also true in 126.96.36.199 RAC but is somehow working differently in 188.8.131.52 (Restart)
BEFORE 184.108.40.206, $ srvctl add database -d SSS_589 resulted in
: Database unique name: SSS_589 .. Database instance: SSS_589 <------ "_" is included in the instance name and is OK
NOW IN 220.127.116.11(restart) srvctl add database -d SSS_589 results in:
Database unique name: SSS_589 .. Database instance: SSS589 ----> "_" is ignored and is not OK.
srvctl version: 18.104.22.168.0
srvctl config database -d SSS_589 -a
Database unique name: SSS_589
Oracle home: /u01/oracle112/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1
Oracle user: oracle
Start options: open
Stop options: immediate
Database role: PRIMARY
Management policy: AUTOMATIC
Database instance: SSS589 <-- "_" gets omitted when registering inst name
Database is enabled
