Symptoms
After creating asmlib disk in a 2 node RAC cluster
- On 1st Node diskgroup was created successfully,
- On 2nd Node tried to mount the diskgroup and got: ORA-15063: ASM discovered an insufficient number of disks for diskgroup
- query v$asm_disk - show the header_status: unknown
Also saw the following errors in Node 2
SQL> ALTER DISKGROUP ALL MOUNT
