Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 11.2.0.2 and later
Oracle Database Cloud Schema Service - Version N/A and later
Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Machine - Version N/A and later
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Database Service - Version N/A and later
Oracle Database Cloud Exadata Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

GPFS is upgraded from 3.3 to 3.4.0.15

ASM is not used, and all shared files (voting, ocr, database files, etc) are on GPFS filesystems. Oracle Home and Grid home are on local jfs2 filesystems on each server - the homes are NOT shared.
Does upgrading GPFS require the relink of Oracle binaries in the ORACLE_HOME and GRID_HOME?
