ORA-600 [17099] FOLLOWING ORACLE AGENT INSTALL (Doc ID 1530728.1)

Symptoms

  1. After installing the 11g Oracle Agent, you see the following errors:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17099], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []


  2. Review of the generated tracefiles reveals a call stack similar to:
    ... < dbgtfwriterec < dbgtrecvawrite < dbgtrecvawritedisk < dbgttrc_int < ...


  3. No changes were made to pre-existing SQLNET.ORA parameters, or the TIMEOUT value is an acceptable setting.
