Materialized view refresh failure ORA-7445 kkzg_local_idx_DDLs/ORA-600 [12811] (Doc ID 1532224.1)

Symptoms

Refresh of Materialized view can fail with any of these errors:

SQL> execute dbms_mview.refresh('GEX5.X5ESB4MV','F',ATOMIC_REFRESH => FALSE);

BEGIN dbms_mview.refresh('GEX5.X5ESB4MV','F',ATOMIC_REFRESH => FALSE); END;

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path
ORA-600: internal error code, arguments: [12811]
ORA-6512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2563

OR the following error message could be encountered

ora-7445 [kkzg_local_idx_DDLs()+970] instead of the ora-600 [12811] for the
same failing current sql .
