On : version, RDBMS

the following error occurs from Scheduler Job.

ORA-27369: job of type EXECUTABLE failed with exit code: Cannot allocate memory

 exec create_host_command_job_args('"/oracle/data/usage/HostScripts/zip" -m -j -r -7 -q "/oracle/data/usage/" "/oracle/data/usage/dummy"',1);

this zips and moves (deletes source) all files in the directory /oracle/data/usage/dummy to /oracle/data/usage/

if /oracle/data/usage/dummy is not empty, the created job and the zip command succeeds.

if /oracle/data/usage/dummy is empty (contains no files) or does not exists, then I get the "cannot allocate memory error".

If you run the command '"/oracle/data/usage/HostScripts/zip" -m -j -r -7 -q "/oracle/data/usage/" "/oracle/data/usage/dummy" directly in a terminal window when /oracle/data/usage/dummy is empty then I get the following reply:

zip error: Nothing to do! (try: zip -m -j -r -7 -q /oracle/data/usage/ . -i /oracle/data/usage/dummy)
