A customer has identified a length limitation of 68 bytes in the password field of  the connection call generated from Visual Basic when using the  ODP.NET interface to connect to TimesTen.

This is problematic because the password field is available for the inclusion of other connection attributes. The customer's application needs to be able to dynamic reassignment of database connections and the password field length limit prevents them from doing this. For example, if the customer submits a connection string similar to the following:

 The connection request would be rejected with an error. 



 None.  This is in fact generic behavior.
