ERROR 1235 : This Version of MySQL Doesn't Yet Support 'Multiple Triggers With the Same Action Time And Event For One Table' (Doc ID 1545507.1)

Symptoms

While importing mysqldump data of a database to another database, the below error is encountered:

ERROR 1235 (42000) at line 120: This version of MySQL doesn't yet support 'multiple triggers with the same action time and event for one table'

 

Scenario

Suppose source database is `db1` and destination database is `db2` on the same MySQL instance.


1) Take mysqldump of db1

$ mysqldump -uroot -ppassword db1 > /tmp/db1.dmp


2) Create database `db2` (if not exists)

$ mysqladmin -uroot -ppassword create db2


3) Import "db1.dmp" file to `db2` :

$ mysql -uroot -ppassword db2 < /tmp/db1.sql


4) And import stops with the error:

ERROR 1235 (42000) at line 120: This version of MySQL doesn't yet support 'multiple triggers with the same action time and event for one table'
