Cloudera Manager Email Alerts Sent to "Old" Address After Updating Alert Publisher Email Settings with New Email Address on Oracle Big Data Appliance V2 (Doc ID 1547341.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA) V2.0, Cloudera Manager (CM) email alerts are sent to an "old" email address even after updating to a "new" email address. The "new" email address was set in the configuration options of "Alert Publisher" setting "Alerts: Mail Message Recipients", with a description of "a comma-separated list of email addresses to send alerts to" via CM Services > mgmt > Configuration > Alert Publisher > Alerts: Mail Message Recipients >Save Changes.

Additionally a warning like below is observed on the Alert Publisher setting Configuration page:

Saved 0 change(s).  Restart the service (or the instance) for the changes to take effect.

 
Above the warning is a message stating:

Currently Started with Outdated Configuration and Good Health
