Goal
When oracle.exe (or any Oracle process) terminates abnormally, an operating system crash dump may be required. This can be accomplished using ADPlus, Debug Diagnostic Tool (DebugDiag), or ProcDump. However, there may be occasions when these tools have side effects that are undesirable. In those cases, Windows Error Reporting (WER) can be implemented to capture the dump.
