Symptoms

Using Oracle's 11.2.0.2 ODBC driver with a keyset cursor against a UTF8 database, an ADO Recordset may return no rows (rs.eof is true).

This behavior can also be observed using 11.2.0.1 Patch 7 or higher, but less than 11.2.0.1 Patch 11, Oracle ODBC Driver as well.

Changes

Behavior may be discovered as a result of an Oracle client upgrade.
