DBCA, Unregister Does Not Work When A Database Is Registered In OID (Doc ID 1553183.1)

The problem does not occur with OID 10.1.2.


While  trying to use DBCA to unregister a database with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11.1.1.

The deregistration fails with message 'Database is not registered with Directory Service'.

The problem does not occur with OID 10.1.2.

Registering a database with OID 11.1.1 using DBCA is successful and a connection using EUS to the database results in success. The problem is specific to unregister.

Steps to Reproduce

Run the following command:

dbca -silent -configureDatabase -sourceDB <DBNAME> -unregisterWithDirService true -dirServiceUserName "cn=<CNNAME>,cn=users,ou=service,ou=ca,o=ubs,c=ch" -dirServicePassword <PASSWORD> -walletPassword <WALLETPASSWORD>


To successfully de-register a database in OID 11.1.1 using DBCA.
